This workshop, reserved for French and Drama teachers, presents mask work through a pedagogical perspective. The workshop’s goal is to give teachers the required tools so that they may transmit the knowledge mask and physical acting to students of primary and secondary schools, as well as college students.

Through the fundamentals of mask work and physical acting, the transmission of this knowledge and its instructional methods, within today’s academic reality (i.e.: large groups, lack of time, nonexistence of masks…), will be accentuated.

Although part of the workshop is theoretical, physical participation by the teachers will be stressed so that they may well feel the art of acting with masks. The pedagogue will however be available to answer any questions throughout the entire workshop so that the teachers will properly possess the tools required to transmit this knowledge to their students.

Length of workshop: 6 to 10 hours
Maximum number of participants: 12
Offered in all regions of Québec (transportation and boarding costs may apply).
