Hugo Bélanger, Artistic Director and Stage Director
Playwright, director, actor, pedagogue, artistic director of the company and megalomaniac, Hugo is a lanky hyperactive. Searching to channel his imagination and madness, he completed his formation as an actor in Lionel-Groulx College’s professional theatre program in 1995.

A compulsively curious globetrotter, his thirst for knowledge led him to participate in many physical acting and mask workshops in Quebec and France. Théâtre Tout à Trac’s co-founder, Hugo was nominated in the category Discovery of the Year during the 2005 Soirée des Masques and was awarded the Masque for Best Text Adaptation for his work on Princess Turandot at the 2006 Soirée des Masques.

Maude Desrosiers, Actor and Co-founder of Tout à Trac
Subsequent to the joys of Quebec wild life, growing up in the Lower St-Lawrence region, this young woman, with supernatural blue eyes, immigrated to the city so as to share her immense acting talents.

Issued from the 2001 vintage in Lionel-Groulx College’s theatre program, Maude also participated in mask and initiation to the puppet workshops. Her talents as an actor led her to perform throughout Quebec as well as Belgium, France, Spain and Mexico. Maude is co-founder of the company, but mainly, she is a muse to us all.

Michel Tremblay, General Manager, Production and Technical Director
This enthusiast of literature and ancient books conceals beneath his appearance of tireless and indestructible technical director, a generous man who’s “heart is always in the right place”. As an accomplished technical director and production manager, he has toured the world many a time and overcome many colossal feats.

Equally lighting designer and instructor, Michel has always retained, despite his bulimic proficiency, a profound love for the artistic endeavours of small theatre companies. This makes him a valuable asset to the company and also a precious friend.
